A massive 7.5 foot tall Bronze Batman Statue was erected in Burbank’s AMC Walkway pedestrian.
The Batman Statue design is based on the Batman: Hush character design, which is the original creation of DC artist, publisher, and Chief Creative Officer Jim Lee.
The “Visit Burbank” tourist organization in collaboration with DC brought the Bronze Batman Statue to the area. With the help of digital sculptor Alejandro Pereira Ezcurra, the 2002 Batman: Hush version of Batman by Jim Lee was reimagined in 3D form by the talented sculptor with painstakingly immaculate detail and precision at Burbank’s American Fine Arts Foundry and Fabrication. The resulting Batman Statue looks menacing and mighty as it measures at seven and a half feet tall and weighs at about 600 pounds, quite heavy indeed.
Those who wish to view the Batman Statue themselves will have to book a ticket to Burbank and visit the AMC Walkway of Downtown Burbank.

Speaking about the Batman Statue being based on Hush, the 2002’s Batman villain ran through Issues #608 to #619 and was made by Jeph Loeb, Jim Lee, Scott Williams, and Alex Sinclair. The comic features the villain, a mysterious bandaged villain named Hush who attempts to destroy Batman with the help of Riddler by manipulating several other known foes of Batman to fight against Batman even going to the extent of manipulating his closest allies such as Superman, Huntress, and Catwoman.
The comic that the Bronze Batman Statue is based on was a well detailed and written story which was well received and turned out to be an immediate best seller, featuring a very interesting plot twist at the end, which we leave up to the reader to find out by reading the comics themselves. Being a best-seller, it has been reprinted in a number of different editions and collections in the years since its release.
