46% Of Americans Would Vote Dwayne Johnson As President In 2024

The people love him!

Retired wrestler turned actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has already won the vote of almost 46 percent of Americans given he takes part in the 2024 elections for US President.

A recent poll by Pipslay, taken between April 2 to April 4, surveyed what Americans would think of the possible future where celebrities ran for the office of the President of The United States of America and which celebrity they would trust to hold office. And just like the Forbes 2020 list of highest paid actors, The Rock came out on top of the list as the most popular celebrity with a whopping 46 percent of votes.

In an interview with USA Today, just last month, Dwayne Johnson admitted that he would consider running for president if it’s “what the people wanted”-

“I would consider a presidential run in the future if that’s what the people wanted, truly I mean that, and I’m not flippant in any way with my answer. That would be up to the people.”

“So I would wait, and I would listen. I would have my finger on the pulse, my ear to the ground.”

This is not the first time that The Rock has expressed his interest on the matter. He was even “seriously” considering running for president back in 2017. The revelation was made during a joint interview of The Rock and comedian Kevin Hart on The Ellen Show-

Other well-known celebrities were also on the list along with Dwayne Johnson. Matthew McConaughey also has a pretty solid 41 percent of Americans who would vote for him as US President.

Angelina Jolie came next, with the Salt star having about 30 percent of Americans voting for her in the position of US President. Reeling in next was iconic talk-show host Oprah Winfrey who earned 27 percent of American votes for the spot, next was Forrest Gump star Tom Hanks scoring 22 percent of the votes.

The Pipslay poll also surveyed who would be the most popular candidate among Millennials and the new Gen Z, comedian and actor Will Smith came out on top of the list for the mentioned categories with 21 percent of the votes.
