‘A Year & A Half Later’ Megan Fox And Machine Gun Kelly Are Engaged

“Yes, in this life and every life.”

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are engaged. “In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic,” Megan Fox captioned an Instagram video of the proposal on Wednesday, January 12, making an official announcement. “We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma.”

Fox continued: “Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him. And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes. …and then we drank each other’s blood 1.11.22.”

Machine Gun Kelly, for his part, also shared an Instagram video of the ring, which he specially designed for his lady love.

‘Yes, in this life and every life,’ he wrote. “Beneath the same branches we fell in love under, U brought her back to ask her to marry me. I know tradition is one ring, but I designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (her birth stone) and the diamond (my birth stone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love. 1-11-2022.”

Megan fox is surely highly impressed with her engagement ring.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Fox previously told that she admires Kelly’s sense of style, and the rapper often influences her own fashion as well.

“His fashion awareness is very high,” she said of her now-fiancé. “He has great style. He always looks super unique and unusual. But he has the perfect body for it. He’s so tall, and he has a model’s body. So he can wear anything and make it look really good. I loved watching him get dressed, because he wears clothes so well.”

Gemologist The Clear Cut founder Olivia Landau told Page Six Style that two-stone rings have been a huge trend over the past two years. “Her stones look to be around 2 to 2.5 carats each in size. Depending on the quality, a similar ring could range from $50,000 to $75,000,” she said.

Megan Fox met Machine Gun Kelly while filming her movie Midnight in the Switchgrass. The pair made their relationship Instagram official last summer after she appeared in his “Bloody Valentine” music video.

The actress, 35, sparked engagement speculation in September 2021 when a source told Us Weekly that she was spotted wearing a ring on her left hand at the 31-year-old rapper’s rehearsal for the MTV Video Music Awards.

In their first joint interview as a couple, Megan Fox called Kelly her “twin flame.”

“Instead of a soul mate, a twin flame is actually where a soul has like ascended into a high enough level that it can be split into two different bodies at the same time,” Fox revealed shortly after making their relationship public. “So we’re actually two halves of the same soul, I think. And I said that to him almost immediately, because I felt it right away.”

Fox was previously married to Brian Austin Green, and the two share three children: Noah, 9, Bodhi, 7, and Journey, 5. This will be the first marriage for Machine Gun Kelly (real name is Colson Baker), though he does have a 13-year-old daughter, Casie.
