Alicia Silverstone New Tiktok Tells You How To Pronounce Her Name

She is also bringing the Cher vibe on TikTok!

Alicia Silverstone made her TikTok debut while telling everyone that we have been saying her name wrong. Yes, the Clueless star set the record straight about her name for the first time to the fans. In her TikTok video, she said, “My name is ‘Ah-LEE-see-ah, Not ‘Ah-LEE-shah.’ Not ‘Ah-lee-SHAH.’ Alicia!”. She even captioned the video with the same “Ali-SEE-yuh” making it more clear to the fans who have been saying her name wrong.

Alicia Silverstone also posted her first TikTok on the social media platform on June 4. She performed the short sketch with her 10-year-old son, Bear Blu Jarecki, and recreated the famous scene from her 1995 movie Clueless. In the video, she had the same sass as her character while saying the lines “Ugh Get off of me!”. While her son tried to put his arm around her. She even jokingly pushed him while muttering “Ugh, as if!” to herself.

One of the most noticeable moments of the clip was the yellow jacket that the star wore. Yes! You guessed that right it was the same jacket that she wore in the movie’s clip. The Dolce & Gabbana yellow-black plaid blazer made a reappearance and took over the internet with the 90s feel. She captioned the video as, “Guess I’m on TikTok now”. Unlike the scene, we can see her son moving in the frame and getting a big bear hug from Alicia Silverstone in the end.

Last summer Clueless completed its 25th anniversary and it has been a cult classic since its release. The movie has Alicia Silverstone as Cher, Stacey Dash as Dionne, Paul Rudd as Josh, and late Brittany Murphy as Tai. The movie is a coming-of-age teen comedy where Cher gives a makeover to a new student, Tai. When Tai becomes more famous than Cher she realizes how misguided she was about herself. While also falling for Josh in the process who told her the truth all along.

“She has it all – until she falls off the top of the cheerleading pyramid and goes into a coma. Fast forward 20 years later and Ruby finally wakes up from her coma as a 37-year-old woman. She goes back to her high school and tries to assume her role as the star of her school. Most of all, she is still set on winning the crown as prom queen.”
