Amber Heard Had Minimal Input In Her Op-Ed Directed At Ex-Husband Johnny Depp

Another twist in the legal battle!

Johnny Depp was recently seen suing his ex-wife Amber Heard for defamation. Amber Heard has described her abusive relationship in the op-ed. She has also mentioned the revenge against her after the divorce. The essay does not mention her ex-husband’s name, but it is obvious that the person she is talking about is Johnny Depp.

The op-ed prompted a $50 million libel action by her ex-husband Johnny Depp, who wants to restore his reputation.

After the release of this op-ed, Johnny claims that he has not committed any acts of domestic violence described by Amber Heard. Therefore, he called the op-ed an act of defamation against him. According to sources, Johnny Depp’s legal team is working hard to find all evidence to prove his innocence.

Earlier, we also heard the audio in which Amber was seen taunting Johnny that no one will believe him. She also admitted to hitting Johnny in the audio.

According to some uncovered emails shown to, it seems Amber Heard did not write the op-ed.

Johnny Depp’s attorney claims that the op-ed was in fact written by one of ACLU’s staff which was an essay titled ‘I spoke up against sexual violence and faced our culture’s wrath’ The ACLU also appointed Amber Heard as an ambassador on women’s rights in 2018. According to the emails, it seems that someone from the staff came up with the idea of having a huge op-ed that described the experience of survivors of “gender-based violence.”

Earlier Amber Heard also said she’d make a $7 million donation to Children’s Hospital LA and the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union). However, Johnny Depp’s team believes these donations were never made when the Children’s Hospital said they never received their promised funds.

So Johnny Depp is now suing the ACLU to search out if Amber Heard donated the money to them (or if her ex Elon Musk donated that money).

Alice Cooper was recently seen publicly defending Johnny Depp against all the abuse and allegations against him by his ex-wife named Amber Heard. Amber Heard’s claims were also considered “substantially true” by a judge in 2020.

According to sources, Elon Musk and Amber Heard dated after her marriage to Depp ended in 2016. Depp has repeatedly alleged she cheated on him, saying that she started dating Musk before she and Depp split.

Back in 2018, ‘The Sun’ referred to Depp as a “wife-beater” in one of their published articles. This came after Amber Heard accused Johnny Depp of physical abuse while writing an op-ed for the Washington Post. After that, Johnny sued Heard and ‘The Sun for defaming him, and since then, the case has taken various turns.

However, the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean star lost his case against ‘The Sun’ after the high court ruled the “Wife-beater” description to be “substantially true” in November. Depp also lost his chance to appeal against the U.K. tabloid again.
