The Ana de Armas and Ben Affleck split has left the former listening to Amy Winehouse’s breakup song: “You Sent Me Flying” and it seems she is not over her ex.
Ana de Armas shared a video on her Instagram story, of her listening to the late singer, Amy Winehouse’s 2003 hit: “You Sent Me Flying” while being chauffeured to her work.
In the video, the 32-year-old “No Time To Die” actress’ dogs, Elvis and Salsa tagged along with their owner’s moody ride to work. Elvis seemed really supportive of Ana de Armas, as he slept on her lap while Salsa sat in the seat behind her, listening to the song.
Ana de Armas wore a cropped aquamarine sweatshirt while going to work, which she paired with black yoga pants and white trainers.
She also shared a video of Salsa, sticking his/her head out of the car window with Selena Gomez’s Baila Conmigo playing in the story, before sharing the Amy Winehouse one.
Ana posted a video after reaching her workplace, where she played fetch with Salsa. In the video, the lyrics of the Amy Winehouse breakup song also played. The lyrics, “With your battered jeans and your Beasties tee/ Now I can’t work like this, no, no, with you next to me” played in the back.
To dive even deeper, the two lines that play before the above-mentioned ones are: “And although my pride is not easy to disturb, yeah/You sent me flying when you kicked me to the curb,” which indicate in the song an end of unrequited love. Which has led us to take this as a possible jab towards Ben Affleck.
Ana De Armas and Ben Affleck started dating each other after getting acquainted on the set of the upcoming film “Deep Water” and were together for a solid year before deciding to call it quits this year.
A source informed People magazine, about the split. “Ben is no longer dating Ana. Their relationship was complicated. Ana doesn’t want to be Los Angeles based and Ben obviously has to since his kids live in Los Angeles.”
Another source told the magazine that the Ana De Armas and Ben Affleck split was mutual. “This is something that was mutual and something that is completely amicable. They are in different points in their lives; there is deep love and respect there. Ben continues to want to work on himself. He has three jobs lined up and he’s a solid father at home. They are both happy with where they are in their lives. Ben and Ana’s friendship has not ended. They still talk regularly.”
