Anna Faris and Chris Pratt’s son, Jack, gets some important advice from his mom
The “Scary Movie” star, Anna Faris has recently revealed a piece of advice that she would give to her son Jack for his 20s. Faris has recently talked about her struggles while going through not one but two divorces on her podcast “Anna Faris is Unqualified” while talking to her guest Gwyneth Paltrow in March. “My two other marriages were with actors and I don’t think we did a great job of eliminating competitiveness,” said Anna “Or at least I didn’t, being a proud person, and not wanting to reveal vulnerability. Any hint of competitiveness and comparison, I didn’t handle that very well, I don’t think,” she continued.
However, according to the latest episode of her podcast, it seems like Anna did not like her decision to get married so early. While talking to her guest, author Glennon Doyle, Anna Faris shared an important piece of advice that she would give to her son. “I don’t know if it’s too grumpy and cruel to say in a sense but if I could tell my 8-year-old son one thing that maybe he would stick to, I would really encourage him to not get married in his 20s,” Anna said.
The 44-year-old ‘Mom’ fame married actor Ben Indra in 2004 at the age of 27 after dating him for a few years, however, Faris filed for divorce in 2007, which was finalized in 2008. A year after that, she married the “Guardians of the Galaxy” actor Chris Pratt, However, the couple separated their ways in 2017. Anna Faris shares son Jack with Chris.
Now, Chris Pratt is happily married to Katherine Schwarzenegger and has a beautiful daughter with her, while Faris is engaged to cinematographer Michael Barrett, whom she met on the 2018 movie ‘Overboard.’ “We had an immediate kind of intimacy. We’re both probably introverts in a very similar way. And he has two children and that has been awesome. I’ve really learned a lot about myself through his kids. It’s been really rewarding,” the ‘Lovers Lane’ actress told People magazine in May.
Anna talked more about their blended family, “We bought a camper van and traveled with a portable printer for school. Jack has been handling this whole thing like a champ. I just feel very happy that my family is safe. And I don’t think I’ve ever been so present.”
