Chris Pratt’s ex-wife, Anna Faris, was thrilled when she heard the news that Chris and Katherine Schwarzenegger had welcomed a baby girl into their lives. She even sent the happy couple a congratulatory baby gift.
Confirming the news on an Instagram post on August 11, the Jurassic world actor and Katherine announced that they named her Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt. They were graced with several well-wishes from family and friends including Faris.
Chris Pratt and Anna Faris split in 2017 after an eight-year marriage continuing to co-parent their seven-year-old son Jack who after the birth of Katherine Schwarzenegger’s baby has become an older brother. Chris Pratt and Anna Faris have remained on amicable terms and the latter is in complete support of the relationship.

Another source also revealed to Hollywood Life that the Mom actress is “very excited for Jack to have a little sister. She’s very close to her older brother [Robert Faris], so she’s just thrilled that Jack will have a sibling”
It was also revealed that she’d been preparing her son for an additional family member. “She’s been helping prepare Jack to be a big brother and he’s very proud”
In addition, yet another source told E! in the same report that following the birth of Katherine Schwarzenegger’s baby, her entire family had been eagerly “waiting at home the moment she got there to meet the baby.”
The first time grandparents Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver along with Katherine’s siblings had been “coming by daily for short visits.” said the source, clearly everyone was thrilled with the birth of Katherine Schwarzenegger’s baby, Lyla Maria.
The couple was thrilled and couldn’t be any happier added the source saying “Katherine and Chris are over the moon and adjusting well. Katherine is such a natural mom and Chris is a very hands-on dad. They couldn’t be happier”
