Singer Ariana Grande surprises her fans after her quite departure from Twitter
Ariana Grande has suspiciously deleted her Twitter account on Christmas eve, Friday, Dec 24, leaving her fans confused and shocked. The 28-year-old pop star did not give any reason for her departure from the social media site, which in turn made her fans assume various reasons. Some feel like Grande wanted to spend the holidays quietly and social media-free with her husband, whereas others feel like this can be the beginning of her new project. Various celebrities have previously tried this trick of wiping off their social media account clean, before starting a new big project. And maybe Ari wants to join the club.
However, Ariana Grande might have deleted her Twitter account but not Instagram as the new ‘The Voice’ coach shared a post on 24 December, Friday, to promote the Netflix film ‘Don’t Look Up.’ The film has a song by Grande and “THE SCOTTS” musician Kid Cudi in it. After that, the newlywed singer also posted a subtle but sweet Christmas wish for her fans. “Merry : )” she wrote on a video of the sky. “Be safe I love you,” she added.
Ariana Grande might have not felt like giving an explanation about her Twitter deactivation, but it has sure left her fans wondering. On Friday, Ariana’s name started trending on Twitter as her fans started posting the screenshots of her account showing a message that said, “This account doesn’t exist. Try searching for another,” while another screenshot displayed, “Something went wrong, try again.”
“Ariana went from telling us she loves us every day to deactivating… these r dark times,” a user tweeted, while another one said, “Ariana deactivating isn’t surprising.. people including many of her OWN fans have been saying the vilest things against her without consequences, her mental health comes first so I hope she’ll be ok.” The Positions singer had a really busy but beautiful year both personally as well as professionally. She got married to Los Angeles luxury realtor Dalton Gomez in May this year, after dating for almost a year. The ceremony took place at her Montecito, Calif., home among 20 people.
At the same time, Ari achieved another milestone, this time by becoming a coach at ‘Voice’ for the very first time. The Grammy winner also announced last month that she will be starring opposite Cynthia Erivo in the film adaption of the long-running Broadway musical, “Wicked.” So, it was indeed a great year for the young singer, however, looks like she wants to do it all a little differently and social-media free the next year.
