Aubrey Plaza’s new psychological-drama film “Black Bear” which is making it’s release soon after it screened at the Sundance Film Festival 2020, her performance has already drawn praise from critics but it also has put an actor in awe of her, Adam Sandler, to the point he decided to conduct an interview for Interview Magazine

I can’t believe you’re doing this! I’m scared!”

What a great way to start an interview. After the initial confrontation, Adam Sandler straightaway admitted his awe of her performance in “Black Bear” as he said “Your performance killed me.” and added that “I loved you in it. I couldn’t believe what I saw. This is just a monumental performance. People are going to be so excited seeing this. You dove in there so deep. But let’s talk about other shit first. I’ll ask you some questions.”

Then the Sandman tried to establish some common things which he might have with the quirky Aubrey Plaza, which did not end well. Adam asked her if she is picky about the food on the set and whether she is a day sleeper like him, but Aubrey opened up that “I eat for fuel. When I’m shooting something, I don’t care about eating. I just eat when people tell me to eat.” and that she doesn’t sleep. “No, I can’t take naps. I don’t know how to do that. I’m a psycho.”

Directed by Lawrence Michael Levine, “Black Bear” stars Aubrey Plaza along with two co-stars Christopher Abbot and Sarah Gadon in a plot which follows Aubrey who plays the role of Allison, who is a film-maker who decides to join her friends Gabe and Blair at their lake house, for Allison to find new inspiration in her work. But things do not go that way, as lines between work and personal life are blurred.
