Bella Hadid continues to amaze people with her looks for the Cannes Film Festival
Bella Hadid returns to the Cannes Film Festival with a bang, after the french festival was postponed for a year due to Covid-19 restrictions last year. Hadid is known for making fashion statements for many years and she never fails to show that to the whole world yet again. The supermodel, 24, arrived on the red carpet for the film festival’s first screening which was given to the movie “Annette.”
For her big appearance for the French festival, Bella Hadid opted for a black and white halter neckline dress with a ruffled long train at the back. The dress was a vintage Jean Paul Gaultier Couture dress from his Spring 2002 collection. She tied her hair back into a beautiful bun and wore silver dangling earrings with her statement-making white gown. Bella Hadid has always set trends with her style sense, be it the Cannes Film Festival or the NYC streets.
The 24-year-old model, Bella Hadid, has previously shaken the world with her fashion choices, especially at the Cannes every other year.
Many of you might remember her wearing the red-hot Roberto Cavalli gown in 2019, however, even before that, in 2016, she wore a dazzling red gown, leaving all the mouths wide open. But Bella Hadid never sticks to just one style, she hit the red carpet of 2017’s Cannes Film Festival in a beautiful white silk strapless gown.
Bella Hadid was also seen reuniting with her look-alike and the 90s supermodel Carla Bruni, who wore a gorgeous crystal-strewn gown in baby blue from Hedi Slimane’s current offerings at Celine. The duo was spotted having a pleasant conversation at the doorstep while entering the venue, and they definitely looked pleased to meet each other after a long time.
Carla Bruni is one of the 90s supermodels, a singer-songwriter, and the former first lady of France.
She modeled her way to the top between 1987-1997 after which she tried her hands at singing and songwriting. Since then the 53-year-old supermodel has written various songs. However, she then married Nicolas Sarkozy, the president of France at that time in 2008. For the longest time, Carla and Bella are compared to each other and are even called each other’s look-alikes. However, the duo doesn’t seem to mind the comparison as they have spotted together on plenty of occasions. They once even shared a cover of French Elle alongside Burberry creative director Riccardo Tisci.
