Ben Affleck is again back to his work schedule. The 48-year-old actor is busy filming The Tender Bar in New England. The Tender Bar is an upcoming drama that George Clooney directs. George Clooney also produced the Picture named Argo that won the Best Picture Oscar award.
According to sources, “Ben is excited to be in Boston. Ben Affleck and George Clooney are happy to be reunited and working together again.”
The source also added, “Affleck comes prepared and ready to film. He and George are great to work with.”
The Tender Bar is based on the 2005 memoir of J.R. Moehringer. The story revolves around a young person whose role is played by Tye Sheridan. Tye Sheridan has grown up with his father in the project and then begins to spend time with Ben Affleck, his uncle.
“Having seen enough ups and downs, having had children and divorce — I’m at a point now in my life where I have sufficient life experience to bring to a role to make it interesting for me,” Affleck said in an interview.
In an interview, he said, “I couldn’t accept that meant that I was an alcoholic. I was like, ‘I can just go back; I was fine before, you know, I just need to take a break, and I just need to slow down. I figured, ‘I’m okay, this isn’t me.'”
The sources also say that Ben Affleck “has found time to stay connected with his family. And even got to safely fly back for Sam’s birthday. He is in a good place.”
The actor was recently snapped flaunting his muscles while shooting for The Tender Bar with George Clooney in Boston. Ben Affleck wore a vintage shirt along with the flared jeans of blue colour.
George Clooney was seen giving some instructions to Ben Affleck for the upcoming drama, as he handled a piece of photographic equipment while Ben Affleck went into his car.
The cast of The Tender Bar also includes Lily Rabe. After completing the tender bar’s filming, Ben Affleck will be seen in World War Two drama Ghost Army.
