Does he approve of Bennifer 2.0?

Ben Affleck’s father, Timothy Affleck commented on his son getting back together with Jennifer Lopez after 17 long years.

It is rare to see parents of celebrities being open about the relationships of their children, but Ben Affleck’s 77-year-old dad, Timothy Affleck, has shared his take on Bennifer 2.0.

What did Timothy Affleck say about Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez reconciling?

It seems that Ben Affleck’s dad, Timothy Affleck, has the same reaction as most people. The rumors of his son and the “Selena” star Jennifer Lopez getting back together has come as a complete news to him.

He told The Sun: “I’ve never heard of all that nonsense…Of course I’ve heard of her. But I’d no idea about any of this (Bennifer).”

He also added that he respects the privacy of his two sons, Ben Affleck and the controversial actor Casey Affleck and that, “I talk to my kids about their lives when I see them and they share with me what they want to share.”

The 48-year-old’s dad also asked the media to shift the focus on the charity work that Ben Affleck involves himself in, rather than delving into Ben and Lopez’s past.

“A huge corporate enterprise – which Hollywood is – by its nature is a tough place to make your way and for a global star, which Ben was, it’s even harder. I just wish people would focus on the good work my son does in Congo – the women he helps there…There are important stories the media should be reporting like that, not this nonsense (about Bennifer).”

While Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez getting back together is amazing, we also cannot ignore the success that the 51-year-old Lopez is achieving, not as an actor, but as the head of her production company.

Jennifer Lopez’s company Nuyorican Productions has landed a deal with Netflix

Yup, while Jennifer Lopez has achieved a lot in the acting department, she is also expanding her talent to the department of production.

Lopez’s company, Nuyorican Productions has signed a multi-year contract with the streaming platform, Netflix. The production house will especially look over projects that seek to represent female talents.

The star is working with her colleague Benny Medina, who will also help produce projects.

“Elaine, Benny and I believe there is no better home for us than a forward-leaning content creation company that seeks to defy conventional wisdom and directly market to the millions across the globe who no longer view art and entertainment with the kind of boundaries and limitations of the past,” said the “Shotgun Wedding” star.

The star is already busy with two projects lined up. Lopez will produce the “Mulan” director Niki Caro on the upcoming thriller movie “The Mother’.

The second project is the theatrical adaptation of Isabel Ojeda’s novel “The Cipher”, which will depict an FBI agent being chased down by a ruthless serial killer.
