Billie Eilish’s new hair is being loved by her fans
Billie Eilish has once again changed her hair, but this time it’s not the color. Yes, the 19-year-old singer is still rocking her platinum blonde hair, however, this time they are a little shorter than before. In a thread of pictures and videos posted by Billie, some time back on her IG story, she can be seen showing off her new shoulder-length shaggy bob cut. Apparently, according to the young Grammy award winner, her new look is inspired by none other than her Mom, which she revealed by posting two vintage photos of her mother rocking the same hairstyle and color years ago. “Like my mama,” she captioned it.
However, this was not the first time that Billie Eilish has made a major decision to change her hair.
Back in March, the ‘Lovely’ singer surprised her fans when she posted a picture of herself in Blonde hair. She revealed that she has finally gotten rid of her signature style with black hair with green roots, and that it took almost 6 weeks to completely change her hair color. “I wasn’t expecting that at all,” she said during that time. “It’s actually healthier than it’s been in a longgggggg time.” Eilish’s hairstylist Lissa Renn explained how she was able to keep the young singer’s hair strong and healthy even after such a long procedure.
“The process is real when you’re doing it right. 6 weeks to get all the black off of her ends without damaging it, along with her following my strict haircare regime,” Renn said. “We actually loved all the stages of lifting the color too but the end result is [fire emoji].” Well, it looks like this time, Billie Eilish is pretty much obsessed with her new hair as the singer posted a video clip of her showing off her new hairdo while “Growing Old Is Getting Old” plays in the background. She captioned “I love it.”
Happier Than Ever concert feature is here
Although, this is not the only new thing in the ‘Bad Guy’ singer’s life right now. Disney plus has finally released the trailer of Billie’s upcoming cinematic concert experience, Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles. According to a press release, this Robert Rodriguez directorial project “includes animated elements, taking viewers on a dreamlike journey through Billie’s hometown of Los Angeles and its most iconic backdrops.”
Happier Than Ever was released last month and since then it has consecutively ruled the No. 1 position on the Billboard 100. This album was written by Billie Eilish herself along with her brother Finneas, who will also be featured in this Disney concert. Along with the ‘Lost Cause’ singer’s brother, the concert feature will also include the Los Angeles Children’s Chorus, the Los Angeles Philharmonic conducted by Music and Artistic Director Gustavo Dudamel, and world-renowned Brazilian guitarist, Romero Lubambo, with Orchestra Arrangements by David Campbell.
