Billie Eilish To Play Sally At ‘Nightmare Before Christmas’ Concert Event This Halloween

“This will be a real treat (not a trick)!”

Billie Eilish has been on a roll this year with her latest album, her documentary, and also by being the voice behind the newest James Bond theme for No Time To Die, and now she is all set to play Sally.

Billie Eilish will play the role of Sally alongside Danny Elfman’s Jack Skellington at the live-to-film concert experience celebrating Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas later this month, on Halloween night.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to have Billie joining up with the nightmare crew!” Elfman said in a statement. “This will be a real treat (not a trick)!”

Elfman has announced that this time around, Billie Eilish has joined the performance to voice Sally and undoubtedly sing her own rendition of “Sally’s Song” in Los Angeles, California.

The role of Sally was originally played by Catherine O’Hara, and the actress has previously been in attendance for this live-to-film event to reprise her role. Also joining Danny Elfman and Billie Eilish on Halloween Night this year will be “Weird Al” Yankovic as Lock and Ken Page reprising his role as Oogie Boogie. Grammy-winning conductor John Mauceri will lead a full orchestra of the film’s score to play over The Nightmare Before Christmas

Following a three-year hiatus with the pandemic year, Billie Eilish has recently returned to the stage, performing over the past few weeks at iHeartRadio Festival, Life Is Beautiful Festival, Global Citizen (with Coldplay), and Governors Ball.

Every year this time of year, Danny Elfman invites fans to his live-to-film concert experience of The Nightmare Before Christmas which gives people the chance to see the stop-motion animated movie with the added element of the movie being set to live music and Danny Elfman reprising his voice role as Jack Skellington in the flesh.

Meanwhile, Billie Eilish also unfolded another surprise for her fans.

The 19-year-old singer subtly debuted her latest design while walking the No Time To Die red carpet. While posing at the red carpet, the pop star gave fans a glimpse at an apparent fairy tattoo on her left hand.

Although Eilish has rarely spoken about – or shown – her other designs, this marks her third tattoo. According to Rolling Stone, she also has a dragon on her thigh and the name “Eilish” inked across the middle of her chest in gothic font.

Billie Eilish had more than one Marilyn moment at the 2021 Met Gala. After hitting the red carpet in a fairytale-worthy peach tulle dress, the “Happier Than Ever” singer changed into a second Old Hollywood-inspired Oscar de la Renta design.

It was this wine-colored gown with a thigh-high slit that gave a rare glimpse of her hip tattoo.
