Brad Pitt And Jennifer Aniston Reunited During ‘Fast Times’ Fundraiser

The ex-couple got flirty!

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston got together onscreen for the first time after their split in 2005, one of the few good things to come out of 2020. The former power couple got together for the virtual table read of ‘ Fast Times Ridgemont High’’, a 1982 movie. The movie is a coming of age dramedy. According to a press release, this fundraiser was “unrehearsed” and actors were totally clueless about the roles that they had to enact.

The virtual table read featured Julia Roberts, Sean Penn, Shia LaBeouf, Matthew McConaughey, Jimmy Kimmel, Henry Golding with narration by Morgan Freeman. The table read was hosted by the comedian, Dane Cook. It was a star-studded night.

An hour-long event took place on the Facebook page for Sean Penn’s nonprofit CORE ( Community Organized Relief Effort) in their bid to raise funds for COVID-19 relief efforts.

Aniston played the character of Linda Barett which was originally played by Phoebe Cates while Brad Pitt played the character of Brad Hamilton which was initially played by Justice Reinhold. The ex-couple performed one of the most iconic swimsuit scenes from the movie. Pitt started blushing while Aniston was saying her dialogue. She said, “ Hi Brad. You know how cute I always thought you were. I think you are so s—. Will you come to me?”

The rumors of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston getting back together first sparked off when Pitt and Aniston shared a heartwarming moment backstage at SAG Awards.

LaBeouf played the iconic role of “ Spicoli “ which was initially played by Sean Penn. The former was totally into the character and it is quite safe to say that he did full justice to the character. Julia Roberts played Stacy Hamilton, the younger sister of Brad Hamilton. The director of the movie, Amy Heckerling, and  Screenwriter Cameron Crowe also made a brief appearance to the virtual event towards the end. Heckerling recalled that Sean went so much into the depth of his iconic character “Spicolli” that he requested everyone on the set to address him as Spicolli and not as Sean. The event was originally scheduled a month ago but it had to be postponed due to some technical difficulties.
