Brad Pitt is looking forward to spending time with his kids after winning joint custody with his ex-partner and actor Angelina Jolie.
It was at the end of last month that the “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” star Brad Pitt had won joint custody of his six children following a five-year-long legal battle with Angelina Jolie.
A source has revealed that the 57-year-old is happier than ever. “He’s over the moon now,” claimed the source while referring to Brad Pitt gaining joint custody of his kids: Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15, Knox, 12, and Vivienne, 12. The 19-year-old Maddox, is not subject to the custody as he is an adult.
The source also talked about how the court battle was a “nightmare” for Brad Pitt and now that it is “behind him”, he is feeling free.
Brad also “feels like he’s finally gotten a fair chance in his years-long court battle with Angie over the kids,” the insider added. “That’s all he’s ever wanted: a fair shot.”
According to the court papers, Judge Ouderkirk felt that the testimony, which Angelina Jolie gave in court “lacked credibility in many important areas, and the existing custody order between the parties must be modified, per Mr. Pitt’s request, in the best interests of the children.”
With the “fresh start” that the Oscar-award-winning actor has acquired, he “is more content today than he’s ever been”.
But this doesn’t mean that the decision was unfair to Angelina Jolie. The “Those Who Wish Me Dead” star was recently seen enjoying a fun day out with her kids.
Angelina Jolie stepped out in NYC to get some hot dogs along with two of her kids. The 46-year-old was spotted at Upper East Side at the hot dog chain Gray’s Papaya.
Angelina Jolie came to New York with her kids to celebrate her birthday, which was on 4 June.
For this outing, her two sons, the 17-year-old Pax, and the 12-year-old Knox joined her. She wore a casual yet chic outfit consisting of a plain white tee and a grey long skirt.
Angelina Jolie and her kids exited the famous shop, with each carrying a hot dog and a drink.
Her two sons also went for a casual look, in sync with their fashionable mom. Pax sported a black t-shirt with gray pants, while Knox went for a white t-shirt paired with black pants.
