The newly engaged couple Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz’s wedding has been postponed due to the ongoing Coronavirus concerns.
The pair got engaged in July 2020. Brooklyn had postponed the wedding so that each of his friends and family can attend the ceremony and there would be no limitations for the gathering.
Sources told The Mirror that the couple had asked friends and family to save the dates for September 2021. But now it is being postponed to 2022. It is also said that they are planning to get hitched privately and then throw a grand celebration in 2022.
“This week, Brooklyn told his mates they’ve decided to postpone as it’s too risky. And they don’t want the pressure of having to plan and postpone again, and don’t want limits on guest numbers.“
The wedding ceremonies were going to take place at two locations – one at Beckhams’ Cotswolds estate and the other at Nicola’s home state Florida. The younger brother Romeo, 18, and Cruz, 15, are supposedly the best men along with sister Harper, 9 as the chief bridesmaid for Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz’s wedding. Mother Victoria Beckham would be in charge of the wedding dress which is planned to be something simple and elegant for the young bride and David Beckham will be the master of the ceremonies.
“Brooklyn is incredibly family-focused, just like his parents, and the boys are so close. They are brothers and best mates. Although many assumed David would get the gig, there was really never any question of who he would choose to be his best men.” A source told The Mail Online.
The couple has announced their engagement via Instagram in July 2020. Brooklyn posted a photo of them with a giant wedding ring on Nicola’s finger. The photo was captioned “Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes xx I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day ❤️ I love you baby xx”
While yet we don’t have any official lead on the guest list but Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz’s wedding will definitely be one of the most star-studded events of the year.
