Camila Cabello Is All Set To Coach Contestants On The Voice

This is exciting news for her fans!

Camila Cabello, the 25-year-old singer-songwriter, has been announced to coach the participants of The Voice season 22, upon the sudden departure of judge Kelly Clarkson. The Fifth Harmony veteran will be joining judges Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton, and John Legend in this upcoming season.

Camila Cabello’s induction in The Voice comes after Kelly Clarkson stepped down from her role

The “Havana” singer confirmed the news on Sunday through a TikTok video. In the clip, the singer can be seen crooning along to Mika’s “Grace Kelly” along with Stefani, Shelton, and Legend. “#Duet this if you’re going to be a Coach on #TheVoice this fall,” read the original caption. “See you this fall #TheVoice,” she responded to the post.

Camila Cabello’s The Voice announcement comes not long after Gwen Stefani revealed her own role in the musical reality show. Up until now, Kelly Clarkson and Ariana Grande acted as the judges and coaches alongside Shelton and Legend.

John Legend’s opinions on the young singer

But this is not Cabello’s first stint on the show. Previously, she had teamed up with John Legend to assist his team in the latest season. And the latter himself has been full of praise for the young musician.

“Camila has all the experience she needs to be the perfect advisor for our team. She has navigated a singing competition before and done very well on it,” he said in an interview with Extra. “She was part of a group, and in this battle setting, where the artists are dueting with each other, that’s a very important skill to have,” he continued. “And obviously, she’s an incredibly successful artist and performer in her own right, and all the things she’s learned throughout these years are going to be so important for our team,” he added.

A little bit on what happened last season

Kelly Clarkson reigned victorious the last season with sibling trio Girl Named Tom, making this her fourth win on the show. However, she is stepping down from this role and the ‘Bam Bam’ singer is taking over her place. Gwen Stefani is also returning to the show to take over Ariana Grande’s place who coached in the last season.

The Cinderella star made her own debut in the world of music through the reality show The X Factor where she performed with the music group Fifth harmony for a while. Since then, she hasn’t looked back. We cannot wait to see Camila Cabello on The Voice!
