Cardi B And Offset Have Revealed The Name Of Their Newborn Son

His name represents the sea!

Rapper Cardi B and her partner Offset have recently come out to the public revealing the name of their son whom they gave birth to in September 2021. The newborn baby is apparently named Wave Set Cepheus.

Cardi B and Offset’s son has a beautiful name

The couple took to their personal Instagram accounts to share cute close-up shots of their son with the fans. Offset (whose real name is  Kiari Kendrell Cephus) unveiled the baby boy’s name in the caption. “WAVE SET CEPHUS”. Alongside, he shared a photo of Wave wearing a small bundle of little chains.

Cardi B also shared photos of little Wave looking dapper in a snazzy outfit that consisted of a baby blue puffer jacket with matching beanie and pants, white sneakers, and a pendant necklace. This is the second time she shared a picture of the baby boy, having previously shared one just once back in September 2021. In that picture, the baby was wrapped in a small blanket.

What do the fans have to say about his name?

Fans naturally had a lot of good things to say about the baby’s photos and name drop. “Homie look like he got a tape bought to drop,” one commented. “OMG! Adorable! One thing you gon’ do is make hits & beautiful kids! @iamcardib,” wrote another.

The couple are raising a blended family

Cardi B followed up this post with the one where she Offset, their son and their other children are portrayed on the cover of Essence’s May/June issue, in which the couple had a candid conversation about raising a “blended family”.


“It’s a blessing to be able to have them all together, and to have a wife who’s open and treats them as if they’re her kids,” said Offset. “It could be an issue, but I don’t have to go through that, and that’s beautiful,” he added.

The couple also share their 3-year-old daughter Kulture. The rapper is also father to three other kids from a previous relationship, sons Jordan, 12, and Kody, 7, and daughter Kalea, 7.

The “Bodak Yellow” star said that she wants to “always have a great relationship” with her step children.

“I feel like sometimes people go into a relationship with a man or a woman who has kids with negativity—and I feel like people should embrace it, and love it,” she said. “I love our family, and I wouldn’t want it any other way,” she added.
