Chris Evans: Knowing The 39 Y.O. Mr. Perfection On His Birthday

Birthday wishes to the Hollywood sweetheart!

Dunno about you but we have harbored a massive crush on Chris Evans since he crash-landed in Hollywood back in 1997 with supporting roles in movies, long before his name became synonymous with Captain America, the Marvel superhero. Today, Chris Evans is the talk of tinsel town whether it is the massive net worth he has amassed or curiosity over his current girlfriend. So, as he turns 39, care to indulge in a little who-what-when about your beloved Cap?

Beginning with the most crucial question- who is Chris Evans’ current girlfriend?

He has dated many high-profile actresses in the past including Jessica Biel, who he dated from 2001 to 2006. Chris Evans’ last girlfriend was actress and comedian Jenny Slate whom he met on the sets of the 2017 film The Gifted

Since his last breakup, Chris Evans has been reportedly “dating different women and is having fun” but is “not exclusive with anyone”.

Known for his loyalty in his relationships, Chris Evans has dedicated the same to his career and has amassed an impressive net worth

With Chris Evans’ appearance in blockbuster movies like the MCU franchise, he is one of the highest-paid actors in the world with a net worth of $70 million!

But his journey to this success wasn’t instant…

Chris Evans’ first credited role was in “Biodiversity: Wild about Life!” (1997), a short educational video, followed by supporting roles in series and movies like Opposite Sex, Fierce People, etc. Even though 2005’s Fantastic Four where Chris Evans was cast as superhero Johnny Storm, the Human Torch, was his big breakthrough, his subsequent films failed to make much of an impression, though he always received praise for his acting prowess. Guess he just needed the right film to take off, eh?

Chris Evans becomes Captain America *beginning drum beats* but not before denying the role multiple times!

Chris Evans appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Captain America a.k.a. Steve Rogers in 2011 with Captain America: The First Avenger.

But turns out, he actually turned down the project “a few times” as he “was scared” to sign a nine-picture contract- for him it appeared to be an ironclad agreement which would demand his utmost commitment even if he wanted to back out.

But as the offer kept coming back to him, he soon realized that he was letting his fear get in the way of an amazing opportunity. “It ended up kind of clicking to me in the way that whatever you’re scared of, push yourself into it,” he shared during his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in 2016
