Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s kids are ringing in Christmas early this year! The family of four is already feeling festive and their recent pictures would bring a smile on anyone’s face.
In a posting spree yesterday, Chrissy Teigen shared snapshots of her and John Legend as well as of their two kids.
The cookbook author started and ended her spree with pictures of her son Miles. In the first snap, the mini John Legend wore a grey and black tie-dye t-shirt as he played in a toy truck. “born at 4 pounds and pants still fall down all day but our boy is getting big!” Chrissy joked in the caption.
The 2-year-old looked adorable as ever, wearing a red Christmassy outfit and plush slippers in the second photo. “it’s cold and therefore it is christmas,” the mum added in the caption.
Chrissy also posted a couple of pictures with John, one of which saw their faces smeared in silver make-up.
And of course, the IG spree wouldn’t have been complete without little Luna. The 4-year-old graced her mum’s feed looking cute as a button in her reindeer PJ’s.
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend recently lost their son Jack due to pregnancy complications
In September, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend lost their third child, son Jack, to pregnancy complications.
Chrissy had been updating her fans throughout her pregnancy. She herself broke the sad news on social media. The 34-year-old had been diagnosed with partial placenta abruption. She bled profusely, despite blood transfusions, and the baby couldn’t survive.
Chrissy is yet to publicly speak about her devastating experience, but she plans on doing so in the future.
“one day I will tell you the recent story of the hardest 4 days of my life. for now, here’s me needing my mommy,” she captioned a photo of her snuggled up to her mother.
In an emotional piece for Medium, Chrissy revealed that doctors told her that she too could have lost her life during childbirth.
“I had asked my mom and John to take pictures, no matter how uncomfortable it was,” she shared. “I explained to a very hesitant John that I needed them, and that I did NOT want to have to ever ask. That he just had to do it. He hated it. I could tell. It didn’t make sense to him at the time.”
“But I knew I needed to know of this moment forever, the same way I needed to remember us kissing at the end of the aisle, the same way I needed to remember our tears of joy after Luna and Miles. And I absolutely knew I needed to share this story.”
“Jack will always be loved, explained to our kids as existing in the wind and trees and the butterflies they see,” Chrissy wrote towards the end of the essay.
