Drake and Chrome Hearts’ recent collaboration gave birth to a jaw-dropping Rolls-Royce!
34-year-old singer and rapper Drake recently collaborated with Chrome Hearts to design his own custom Rolls-Royce! The “Hotline Bling” singer has recently delved into the world of car designing, aside from his other day job of creating musical bangers.
Drake, who is known to be an automobile enthusiast and is famous for possessing a Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Landaulet, Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir Edition and Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible in his collection, recently joined hands with Rolls-Royce, to create his own custom Rolls Cullinan together with designer Richard and Laurie Lynn Stark’s Chrome Hearts, according to reports.
The first look of the singer’s new ride
The singer’s new ride looks debonair and classy and was first introduced in the music video for his hit “What Next”. The design of automobile is a visual representation of Drake’s passion for cars with three of Chrome Hearts’ signature crosses instead of Rolls’ Spirit Of Ecstasy emblem on the hood of the car.
The luxury car brands’ new pride comes with a number of other embellishments that include cross motifs on the metallic wheel rims and blacked-out windows, according to GQ magazine. The interior is made of black, quilted leather that are imprinted with Chrome Hearts’ signature symbol. The dark and gothic theme chosen as the main design structure is truly noteworthy! And of course, nothing less can be expected of either Drake or Chrome Hearts.
The designer’s words on the piece of art
Laurie Lynn Star of Chrome Hearts recently had a talk with GQ magazine regarding the design process of Drake’s Rolls- Royce. She said it was difficult because the singer wanted his ride to be a street-legal vehicle aside from being classy and exhibition worthy.
“The technical side is extremely complicated. You have to be up to standards and all that was difficult to pull off,” she said.
Drake’s latest Chrome Hearts designed Rolls-Royce will be available for display at the Miami Institute of Contemporary Art display until May 15.
Drake has created an exception piece of possession during his career which will surely live to impress a long time from now as well. Drake’s Chrome Hearts custom Rolls-Royce is a piece of art worth celebrating!
