Eiza Gonzalez became the new brand ambassador of the Italian luxury brand Bulgari for North America, making her the first Latina brand ambassador. The 31-year-old actress shared the photos on her Instagram account featuring her new project with the high-end jewelry company.
Under the photo, Eiza Gonzalez showed her level of excitement with her caption while announcing her collaboration with Bulgari. She wrote: “Beyond excited to announce that I am joining the @bulgari family! I’m incredibly proud to become the first Latina to be a North American Ambassador. I want to thank BVLGARI for the great honor to be part of such an iconic Italian brand. I‘m deeply grateful and thrilled for the future of our partnership.”
Eiza also thanked the photographer behind the camera, the famous Greg Swales, the one who provides major covers for the magazines and brands.
She also shared a past experience and said that during her childhood, there were only a few Latin models.
Eiza Gonzalez, in the interview, said, “While growing up, it was really hard to find women who looked like me in ads or billboards. So the fact that young Latinas around the world can see an immigrant woman like them be part of a family like Bulgari and feel represented is what matters to me. I am grateful for Bulgari’s active choice of choosing diversity and I’m excited to venture with them in expanding the conversation and inspiring new generations to follow their dreams. It’s an absolute honor.”
Eiza Gonzalez on Latin culture and tradition
Also, in another interview, Eiza shared her views about her culture and tradition. She said, “Our culture is so special. Latin America is rich in culture, optimism, celebration of tradition and the epitome of hard work. It’s about passing along knowledge from one generation to the next. I’m here thanks to the hard work of my family and trailblazing women dedicating their lives to expand and breaking boundaries.”
“I hope that as a brand ambassador and through the work I get to do over the next few years, it will show that the contemporary Latin woman is multifaceted not only as an actress but as an advocate, producer and a fierce believer in championing our culture,” Gonzalez added at the end.
