Elon Musk Asked Twitter Users For ‘Saturday Night Live’ Skit Ideas

‘What should I do?’

Elon Musk has been assigned to be the Saturday Night Live host for next week’s episode of the comedy skit show, with Miley Cyrus as the musical guest for that night.

Elon Musk is the founder, CEO, chief designer of American aerospace and space transportation services company SpaceX, and the CEO and product architect of Tesla, Inc, American clean energy and electric vehicle company. NBC announced that Elon Musk would be hosting the Saturday Night Live in late April.

Recently Elon Musk sought help with his upcoming episode on “Saturday Night Live”. He asked the public for some sketch ideas for his hosting.

“Throwing out some skit ideas for SNL. What should I do?” Elon Musk said on Twitter

Elon Musk also offered some of his sketch ideas that focused on business, cryptocurrency, and international intrigue. His ideas included “Woke James Bond” and “Irony Man.”

He also suggested, “Baby Shark & Shark Tank merge to form Baby Shark Tank.” A Twitter user suggested “The Dogefather,” a mashup of Dogecoin and “The Godfather.” “Definitely,” Musk replied to this tweet.

Elon Musk will be hosting Saturday Night Live on May 8; the news has drawn a lot of backlash from many people on the internet through tweets. However, even the regular cast of NBC’s comedy show has expressed their discontent with the billionaire hosting the iconic show.

Some of the cast members were visibly unsatisfied with the news; cast member Bowen Yang replied to Elon’s tweet with “What the **** does this even mean?”; show writer Andrew Dismukes posted on Instagram: “Only CEO I want to do a sketch with is Cher-E Oteri.”

Aidy Bryant, a repertory player on SNL since 2012, also showed his supposed discontent towards Elon’s appearance on the show by sharing a tweet by Bernie Sanders. Bernie talked about the economic inequality in the USA just hours after the announcement. The indirect tweet does not directly refer to Elon but complains about the 50 wealthiest people owning more than 165 million Americans; Elon Musk is second to Jeff Bezos on the list of America’s wealthiest individuals.
