Emma Roberts revealed the quintessential motherhood advise, she regrets not knowing before becoming a mother to her son, Rhodes.
The 30-year-old star, Emma Roberts, and her husband, Garrett Hedlund, welcomed their son, Rhodes Robert, last year in December. But it is now that the actress has become a mom, that she has learned the true meaning of her new role in life.
“What do you wish someone had told you about motherhood,” asked the 62-year-old actress and mother of two children herself, Jaime Lee Curtis.
To this question, Emma Roberts responded by saying that motherhood, in her opinion, is all about trial and error.
“It’s not something you’ll always feel like you’re getting right, but you will get better every day. When in doubt, just love your child and yourself.”
The new mom in town was also asked by Curtis, about who is the special person in her life that she admires the most. “My mom, especially after having a baby. I kiss the ground she walks on!”
Emma Roberts and Garrett Hedlund are believed to have met two years back, in 2019 and the two try to not put a label on their relationship.
Emma Roberts also had an interview with Cosmopolitan magazine where she had revealed that her plans on becoming a mother in the past, were quite different.
“At 16, I thought, ‘By the time I’m 24, I’ll be married with kids,'” said the 30-year-old actress about her past. “And then I was 24 and I was like, ‘Remember when I said I would be married with kids by now?’ … It sounds cheesy, but the moment that I stopped thinking about it, we got pregnant.”
Emma had also reflected on the changes her body went through during her pregnancy.
“To see my body change inside and out so drastically has been a wild experience. Surprising and beautiful. Then again, some days I feel like I’m being hijacked by something!”
If you are wondering how did the star maintain her glamour throughout her pregnancy, the secret behind it was revealed by Emma herself. She told Jaime about her routine.
“In the evening, I enjoy a full spa-like moment. I’ll wash my face with the Dr. Barbara Sturm Cleanser, which I love, and sometimes add in her scrub as well. The bath is my safe place. I add oil and salts — anything to make it feels special and soothing,” she spilt out her routine.
