Gal Gadot is pregnant with her third child with husband Yaron Varsano. The Wonder Woman star took to Instagram to share the big news, posting a picture of her two daughters and her husband gently holding her baby bump.
“Here we go again ❤✋🏻,” the 35 year-old captioned the post. Gadot looked glowing in the snapshot as she wore a white silk slipdress and little to no make-up.
Messages of congratulations started to pour in for the family as soon as the actress announced the news.
Gal Gadot announced she is pregnant after her Golden Globes 2021 appearance
Gal Gadot’s pregnancy announcement came just hours after her appearance at the Golden Globe Awards 2021, where she was a presenter.
For the ceremony, the star wore a billowy white minidress by Givenchy. Come to think of it, she probably opted for a loose-fitted dress to hide the baby news and the growing baby bump.
Gal Gadot and real estate developer Yaron Varsano got married in 2008. They share two daughters together, Alma Varsano, who they welcomed in 2011, and Maya, who was born in 2017.
“And then we were four… She is here, Maya,” Gadot wrote the time Maya was born. “I feel so complete blessed and thankful for all the Wonders in my life #family #newborn #grateful.”
In an interview in May 2017, Gal shared how she actually feels like a Wonder Woman when she gives birth. “It’s cheesy, but I feel like Wonder Woman when I give birth. When you deliver, you feel like you’re a god,” she told news.com.au. “Like, ‘Oh my God, I made this!’ The best thing is to become a mother and to give life.”
It remains unclear if Gal Godot’s pregnancy would affect her upcoming projects. In October 2020, it was announced that the actress would be essaying the role of Egyptian queen Cleopatra in a new biographical film. The film is being helmed by her Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins.
Gadot’s casting as Cleopatra attracted a lot of controversy and at one point, the actress even stepped in to defend the decision.
Besides the biopic, Gadot also has to shoot for the third Wonder Woman film. She will next be seen in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, which is coming to HBO Max this month, and then in Death on the Nile, which is due in September.
