The father of supermodels Gigi and Bella Hadid, Mohamed Hadid is unstoppable even at the age of 71.
An entrepreneur and property tycoon by profession, Mohamed Hadid decided to expand his business and has launched an eponymous caviar brand. Hadid Caviar was launched simultaneously in the US, Canada, the UAE and Europe.
Since Hadid stops at nothing but the best, it doesn’t come as a shock that he calls his collection the “world’s most desirable caviar”.
For his latest venture, Mohamed Hadid joined hands with CEO Edward Gant, whose family has an experience of three decades in the seafood industry.
The Hadid Caviar line-up includes four caviars as of now, each made with the traditional malossol method. Hand-picked by the man Mohamed Hadid himself, these are Black (Imperial), Gold (Royal Oscietra), Black Diamond (Beluga) and Sultan’s (Almas).
Mohamed Hadid opens up about being a father to famous children
Mohamed Hadid is a big name himself. However, he feels the “burden” of being a father to extremely famous kids including top models Bella and Gigi Hadid.
“People don’t look at me as Mohamed Hadid. They look at me as the father of Gigi and Bella and Anwar – and Alana and Marielle,” he told The Times UK.
“It’s dangerous for me to be their father. I have to be very careful. Everything I do is a reflection on them. [People] use my kids as an instrument to harass me.”
“Just being their father is a tremendous burden on me. They were my kids. Now I’m their father. It is what it is,” he added.
In fact, Mohamed Hadid recently became a grandfather again as Gigi Hadid welcomed a daughter with singer Zayn Malik. The Hadid family is clearly overjoyed with the arrival of the little one whose name has not been disclosed yet.
