Gigi Hadid Walks For Marc Jacobs’s First Fashion Show Since The Pandemic

Gigi Hadid is back, everybody!

Gigi Hadid and Marc Jacobs are back to doing what they do best!

On Monday, designer Marc Jacobs held a live fashion show — the first major physical show since the pandemic started. Not only that, Marc hadn’t released a new collection since the pandemic began, making the 2021 fashion show doubly special.

“On the journey back to doing what we love most, in the wake of immeasurable loss, loneliness, fear, anxiety, and uncertainty, I am reminded of why creativity is so vital to our existence,” the designer wrote in a statement released before the show.

And Gigi Hadid was one of the models who graced Mark Jacobs’ comeback show.

The new mum made her runway return six months after welcoming her daughter, Khai — with the Milan Fashion Week. The show took place in March this year, and Gigi opened and closed for Versace.

Now, it seems like the 26-year-old’s modelling career is back in full swing.

Gigi Hadid looked stunning as she walked the runway for Marc Jacobs Fall 2021 fashion show

Marc Jacobs’s fashion show was everything that it promised to be. His new collection was grandiose — it featured oversized coats, massive hats, large chunky shoes, and huge embellishments.

As for Gigi Hadid, she rocked an all-black ensemble — wearing a black turtleneck, a sequined skirt worn over bell-bottom pants, and platform shoes.

She also wore an oversized coat and what looked like a puffer jacket over the outfit. She tied her hair in a sleek braid and wore a cap.

The runway lineup also featured models like Kaia Gerber and Imaan Hammam.

Meanwhile, Gigi stepped out in NYC in full style before the show

Just before the fashion show, Gigi Hadid stepped out for a stroll in NYC, looking her fashionable best.

The model wore a black cropped tank top with camel-colored trousers and black shoes. She accessorized the look with a stack of gold chains and sunglasses.

Let’s not forget the mini purse she carried that matched the color of her pants.

Hadid’s toned body was on full display in the outfit, and she looked ready to rule the runway.

Gigi had also walked for Marc Jacobs’ last, pre-COVID show held in February 2020. Speaking of this year’s show, the designer also documented the looks on his Instagram Stories.

“Love Gigi,” he captioned a close-up snap of Gigi that showed her stunning make-up. Reposting the story, the model wrote, “Love you Marc! Thank you!”
