“Good Stuff”: Chris Evans’ Tweet About ‘The Office’ Emotional Scene Is Melting Hearts

“Krasinski is my boy.”

Chris Evans is just like us who likes to binge-watch shows like The Office on a Saturday.

“When Jim and Pam are having an off day but at the end of the episode they’re both leaving each other messages talking about the same things. Good stuff,” Evans tweeted on Oct. 23 that left fans excited.

The Office is a workplace mockumentary that ran between 2005 and 2013 that follows the lives of a group of office employees working for a paper supplier based in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The show was a critical and commercial success, earning five Emmys and made Jenna Fischer (Pam), John Krasinski (Jim), and Steve Carrell household names.

Chris Evans’ tweet about The Office sounds like he’s talking about Season 5, Episode 4, “Baby Shower.”

In the scene, Jim and Pam are figuring out what to do with her being away at art school, both feeling things are a little off. The messages Evans’ referenced come when they call each other at the same time, and each leaves a voicemail to try to connect, with both recalling an awkward encounter they once had with an aggressive guy at a laundromat. Both end their calls saying they miss each other.

Evans’ tweet garnered a lot of attention, so much so that Krasinski and Fischer also responded. The Office alums replied with GIFs to tweet at Evans. While Krasinski shows Jim doing jazz hands at his desk, Fischer’s captures an air high-five between Pam and Jim.

Upon that response, Evans had a little fanboy moment and he tweeted, “Krasinski is my boy and I’ve met Jenna once, but for a minute I’m gonna choose to forget that and just enjoy the fact that Jim and Pam both acknowledged this tweet,” in a follow-up message.

While the exchange between the stars has left swooning, they couldn’t stop pouring their love at them.

Its been eight years since the last The Office episode aired. Over the years, several spin-offs and reboots have been proposed or hinted at, but nothing has come to fruition. Most recently, NBC content chief Susan Rovner has said that NBC is open to a The Office reboot if showrunner Greg Daniels is.
