The Directioners are screaming for Harry Styles Grammy Nominations. The former One Direction member got nominated on Tuesday, November 24th for his first-ever Grammy. The “Golden” star is up for three Grammy nominations in 2021 which includes best pop solo performance for song “Watermelon Sugar”, best pop vocal album (Fine Line), and best music video for song “Adore You”.
Harry Styles Grammy nomination was for his sophomore solo album “Fine Line” in the 63rd Grammy awards. He is the first One Direction member who was recognized for this prestigious award. He released his self-titled debut album on 12 May 2017 through Columbia Records and Styles’ own label, Erskine Records. In the first week of sales, the album sold 57,000 copies and landed at number 1 for the solo album following former One Direction member Zayn Malik. It was also at the number one spot on the US Billboard 200 with 230,000 album-equivalent units, of which 193,000 were pure album sales.
He has also won the 2020 AMA favorite album (pop/rock) for the album “Fine Line”. He won the ARIA Music Award for Best International Artist in 2017. The fans went gaga just after an hour when the nominations were announced and the social media was flooded with encouragement posts for the young singer.
