Kaia Gerber loves Jacob Elordi, but it seems like she did not dig the mullet the Euphoria star was rocking in the early days of their relationship. First, lets take a look at Jacob Elordi in a mullet- It isn’t as bad as it sounds, but Kaia thought so otherwise, she knows what she wants in a man and it’s definitely not a mullet hairstyle.
Jacob Elordi spoke during an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live where the 24-year-old actor talked about the one major problem that Kaia Gerber had at the start of their relationship, his noticeably stylish mullet. First off, the Euphoria star spoke about his quarantine hair, and how he always wanted a mullet from the beginning.
“I always had short back and sides because of the movies and shows. I’d always wanted a mullet. My mom never let me have one because she wanted me to be a gentleman, presentable.”
And then, she met Kaia Gerber, they started dating and Kaia didn’t like the mullet, so she nixed it.
“My girlfriend, within a week of us dating, she cut it off. She took me to the bathroom and she got scissors and she cut it off.”
Jacob further continued, adding a hilarious remark that Kaia made when she cut off the mullet.
“She said, ‘You’re cute, but you’re not that cute.'”
Kaia Gerber and Jacob Elordi have dated for almost a whole year, with their relationship becoming Instagram official when they both dressed up for Halloween as Elvis Presley and his ex-wife Priscilla Presley.
Kaia and Jacob have been very secretive about their relationship; they don’t have an official couple photo other than the one time they dressed up together for Halloween (and a few paparazzi photos of them together); they rarely speak about their relationship.
However, 19-year-old Kaia Gerber opened up about her relationship with Jacob Elordi during an interview in May, saying that being in “safe” relationship has made her realize the possibilities of love.
“Being able to be with someone I trust, where we don’t want anything from each other, having a safe, steady relationship like that, has really opened my eyes to the possibilities of love and what it feels like to love without conditions.
She further added a remark about the difference between lust and love, saying, “Lust is touching other people or wanting them, but love is really seeing someone.”
