As the global pandemic continues to scare and spread amongst individuals all across the globe, some of the popular celebrities have tested positive as well. Idris Elba was tested positive in March and soon his wife was contracted with the disease as well. They were forced to quarantine in Mexico. The 47-year old actor has Asthma, and Sabrina Dhowre Elba revealed that he thought “it was the end.” In an interview with Grazia UK, Sabrina admitted that it “felt scary” overcoming the disease. At one point Idris Elba thought that this is the end, she pointed out. The age and asthma problems of Idris frightened the couple.
Speaking to RadioTimes, Idris Elba COVID-19 battle comes in front of us right from firsthand. He was asymptomatic, so there was no chance of tracing the disease before he had major health issues. Mentally, he was not very strong and confident about the recovery. He further said, “So the mental impact of that on both myself and my wife was pretty, ah, traumatic. I needed the lockdown to try to get over it.”

Sabrina, in an interview, said that after fighting with the disease she wants to be super appreciative of everything in her life. She thinks that the entire experience has changed her life completely. Although the couple has recovered completely, it has undoubtedly left a mark claims Grazia. Idris Elba, on the other hand, said, “Right now, though, I am feeling okay. Woke up this morning, didn’t have any symptoms. My voice is a little tired, checking my fever twice a day. Feel good, feel OK. Been doing a lot of reading about it. You know, asymptomatic is what comes up.”
