Jay Z And Beyoncé Have Not Purchased Late Rapper DMX’s Masters For $10 million

The claims were addressed by the producer, Swizz Beatz.

Jay Z and his wife, Beyoncé apparently never reached out to purchase the late rapper DMX’s masters, in order to pass them down to his children.

It has been 3 days since fans started getting hyped that the power couple, Jay Z and Beyoncé, due to the rumour which was spread around the internet that the two are going to posthumously help the rapper DMX by purchasing the masters to his music and bequeath it to his children for free.

Did Jay Z and Beyoncé ever purchase DMX’s masters?

The answer to this is no. The Grammy-award-winning couple, Jay Z and Beyoncé, never reached out to purchase DMX’s masters.

The family members of the “X Gon’ Give It to Ya” rapper had reached out to Billboard to clear up the confusion surrounding the rumours. “There have been a few rumors following our loved one, Earl Simmons’, passing that we’d like to clear up,” his family revealed in their statement. “No one has bought Earl’s masters.”

DMX’s family also added that fans should not donate money to anyone who is claiming to be raising money for the late rapper’s funeral.

“Additionally, we are not selling any merch or raising money for Earl’s funeral. If anyone is requesting for money for his funeral please be aware the person is a scammer. We will keep the public posted on funeral/memorial service arrangements.”

The rumours were also denied by the music producer of DMX, Swizz Beatz, who took to Instagram to reassure the fans that the rumours about Jay Z and Beyoncé purchasing the masters are not true.

He replied to an article that claimed the same by replying peacefully “Not true king,” and he also added a praying emoji.

Earl Simmons aka DMX, unfortunately, passed away on 9th April due to a cardiac arrest which was caused by a drug overdose. Swizz Beatz had also talked about the early passing of his friend and long-time collaborator, DMX by posting a heartfelt video on his Instagram.

He stated that “Since the day that I met him, he lived his life for everyone else,” Swizz Beatz said in the video. “You ain’t ever seen him next to a Lamborghini…. You ain’t ever seen him iced out with no jewelry, he did not care about any of that…. He was the biggest because he prayed for everybody else.”
