We first saw him in the 2016 movie Neerja and it was a performance worth mentioning. Later, he enthralled the viewers with his unique style of acting in films like Padmaavat, Death Of Gunj and Sanju. From stage to big screens, Jim Sarbh has come a long way. He has established himself as a versatile actor, a reliable talent to look up to and a performer who doesn’t limit himself to cliched roles. While we have to wait a bit more to see him perform, since the lockdown has halted the functioning of both stage as well as theatres, we have something coming from Jim Sarbh. In a recent interview, the star opened up about introspecting, the way ahead and much more.
The actor in him has no worries
While many of the artists do consider this period to be a testing one, Jim Sarbh has an altogether different view about the same. In the interview, he revealed that this phase is not a challenging one for the actor and performer in him. But at the same time, the lockdown days have seemingly helped him understand more about himself. “It is reminding me why I enjoy acting in the first place.”, he opined. Well, this rightly sums how passionate an artist he is. Meanwhile, he also added that a lot of people are truly going through hardships and his ‘Existential Issues‘ are nothing in front of the real sufferers.
Jim Sarbh hopes for the best
COVID 19 has not spared any industry and everybody is looking forward to the new normal. Jim Sarbh believes that people might think more about their real priorities and they would come forward and do what they really like to. “I hope more people will work on what they are dying to make, and less people panhandle to that rough beast- capitalism”, he stated.
Jim Sarbh opens up about his future projects
Jim Sarbh also spoke about his line-up of projects. The actor has teamed up with popular film-maker Bejoy Nambiar for a movie titled Taish. The shoot of the film has been completed and was originally scheduled to release in May 2020. Along with Jim Sarbh, the revenge drama also features Pulkit Samrat, Harshvardhan Rane, Kriti Kharbanda in the lead roles. He also has another project named Beneath The Sea Of Lights in store. Jim Sarbh was last seen in the film House Arrest, which was a Netflix venture.
