First time parents, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner revealed themselves for the first time on social media following the birth of their daughter, Willa Jonas. The duo appeared tired and sleepy in their comeback picture shared on Joe’s Instagram story on August 7.
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner used the “Vogue Challenge” filter on Instagram and posed for the cover of their mock Vogue magazine. The straight-faced couple also shared an important message with their fans urging them to wear masks. “WEAR A MASK…THATS THE TEA” read the title of their faux magazine.
With their newborn, Willa Jonas, the celebrity couple is clearly not taking the pandemic lightly, not even Joe’s brother Nick has visited the young one yet. “Nick and Joe are best friends, and [Nick] never imagined he wouldn’t be able to be there for the birth of Joe’s first child,” a source told Hollywood Life as the 27-year-old singer who has Type I diabetes remains under strict lockdown with his wife actress Priyanka Chopra.
However, the source did confirm that Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are “FaceTiming Nick and sending him photos to keep him updated,” about baby Willa Jonas. Another friend of the famed couple also told the media outlet that the duo is “texting everyone pictures and doing lots of video chats”
“Joe is the proudest new dad of all time and he can’t wait for all his friends to meet his baby girl. But right now they aren’t having friends over because they want to be super cautious,” said the friend adding that “They’re just being extra careful and protective about having friends come over because the baby’s immune system still needs to mature. For now, it’s strictly family”
TMZ broke the news that Sophie Turner gave birth to Willa Jonas on July 22, 2020. And another source had also told ET on 27 July, only after a few days of Willa Jonas’ birth, that Sophie Turner and the “Sucker” singer couldn’t stop “gloating” taking their “time” to settle and enjoy with their newborn.
