Justin Bieber Refutes Sexual Assault Allegations, Says They Are “Factually Impossible”

Singer recently joined the ranks of the accused

Justin Bieber took to Twitter to deny sexual misconduct allegations against him that spread like wildfire. In a series of tweets, the ‘Sorry’ singer produced all possible evidence to remove any shadow of doubt about his innocence.

“I don’t normally address things as I have dealt with random accusations my entire career but after talking with my wife and team I have decided to speak up on an issue tonight,” Justin Bieber wrote on June 21.

It all started on June 20 when a Twitter user named “Danielle” alleged that she had been “sexually assaulted without consent” by Bieber on 9 March, 2014.

They met in Houston when he was in town with his then girlfriend Selena Gomez, and later went to his hotel ‘Four Seasons Austin’ where the incident occurred, Danielle claimed.

Inspired by her, another woman Kadi came out and claimed that she too had been assaulted by Bieber, in 2015.

The tweets led to an outpour of anger and a day into it, Justin Bieber reproduced a string of detailed tweets denying the “no truth” accusations.

“Rumors are rumors but sexual abuse is something I don’t take lightly,” he started. “I wanted to speak out right away but out of respect to so many victims who deal with these issues daily I wanted to make sure I gathered the facts before I made any statement.”

The 26-year-old posted links to news articles, photos and receipts from the night in question, corroborating that he was never at the Four Seasons hotel and that he stayed at an Airbnb.

“Every claim of sexual abuse should be taken very seriously and this is why my response was needed. However this story is factually impossible and that is why I will be working with twitter and authorities to take legal action,” he concluded.

After Bieber’s public statement, Danielle’s account was taken down by Twitter.

As for the alleged 2015 case, ET’s source claims that Bieber never stayed in NYC and immediately flew back to LA post the Met Gala.

#MeToo controversies have always been confounding. While our heart goes out to the victims, false accusations are not rare. Guess we’ll only know the truth with time.
