Kaia Gerber Is “Excited” About Joining ‘American Horror Story’ Season 10 Cast

“Pinch me????”

Kaia Gerber has landed her first major acting gig and it couldn’t be better.

American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy announced Tuesday on Instagram that Kaia Gerber has been cast in the show’s tenth season. “Very excited to announce that Kaia Gerber is joining the American Horror Story family,” Murphy, 55, wrote alongside a picture of Gerber.

Kaia is the daughter of supermodel and actress Cindy Crawford and entrepreneur Rande Gerber.

American Horror Story will mark Kaia Gerber’s first major acting role. She has otherwise had a successful modeling career, having walked in shows for brands like Marc Jacobs, Burberry, Prada, and Chanel.

The 19-year-old supermodel shared Murphy’s post on her Instagram Stories. She also posted a news report about her casting, writing, “very excited about this @mrrpmurphy.”

“Pinch me????” Gerber wrote on another story.

Gerber joins the franchise’s newcomer and Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin, and AHS regulars Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Evan Peters, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Adina Porter, Lily Rabe, Angelica Ross and Finn Wittrock.

The news of Kaia Gerber’s casting comes days after American Horror Story season 10 title was revealed

It was just four days ago that showrunner Ryan Murphy revealed that the tenth season of the horror series will be titled American Horror Story: Double Feature. He released a short teaser for the same. “Two horrifying stories… One season,” the text in the clip read. “One by the sea… One by the sand. More to come…”

Murphy further teased fans in the comment section, writing, “It means TWO SEASONS for the fans airing in one calendar year!” and that it will be “double the viewing pleasure.

“One set by the sea (this cast already announced),” he explained. “A second by the sand (that cast announcement coming).”

Earlier this month, the producer shared a photo of Culkin, 40, and Grossman, 49, wearing fur jackets as they posed by the beach. “Something wicked this way comes,” he wrote in the caption. “American Horror Story Season Ten. #AHS10 #AHS.”

Production for the season was set to begin last year but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. But now, preparations for season 10 have started in full swing. And with the entry of Kaia Gerber, American Horror Story just got a lot more interesting.
