The Elizabeth Holmes drama series looking for another lead

Kate McKinnon drops out of the Elizabeth Holmes drama series ‘The Dropout’, which is the limited series of Hulu, based on the character of disgraced Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes.

ABC News describes the podcast as follows: “The story of Elizabeth Holmes and Theranos is an unbelievable tale of ambition and fame gone terribly wrong. How did the world’s youngest self-made female billionaire lose it all in the blink of an eye? How did the woman once heralded as ‘the next Steve Jobs’ find herself facing criminal charges — to which she pleaded not guilty — and up to 20 years in jail? How did her technology, meant to revolutionize healthcare, potentially put millions of patients at risk? And how did so many smart people get it so wrong along the way?”

Elizabeth Holmes drama series is the story about the rise and fall of Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes, who dropped out of Stanford at the age of 19 to do something big in her life. She found the Theranos and invented the Edison machine, which was basically a blood-testing machine that promised an easy way to test for 200 diseases using a very small amount of blood than usual.

But after various scandals, it was found that Elizabeth’s machine was a fraud, and it didn’t really work as she claimed. However, even after her unsuccessful experiment, she was able to involve big investors like Betsy DeVos and Rupert Murdoch to invest in her company.
