Kate Winslet And Zendaya Talk About How Their Life Has Changed With The Pandemic

Both virtually came on Actresses Roundtable.

Kate Winslet and Zendaya revealed how the pandemic has affected their private lives in The Hollywood Reporter’s Actresses Roundtable.

It has been a whole year since the COVID-19 pandemic kicked in and people had no choice but to spend their quality time inside the safe confinements of their homes. This was also the same for many celebrities, including Kate Winslet and Zendaya.

Kate Winslet and Zendaya got together via video call along with other notable icons on Actresses Roundtable.

The 45-year-old actor, Kate Winslet, who starred in the 2020 romance-drama “Ammonite” and also in the limited series “Mare of The Easttown”, revealed that she got attracted towards taking care of her home.

“I became — and still am, actually — utterly obsessed with sweeping my floor,” said Kate Winslet about this new revelation. This OCD-like care is mainly focused on the fur of her Golden Retriever.

“I’ve got this sort of microscopic vision where I can see the dog hair gathering in funny little cracks … and I’ll be like, ‘There’s dog hair! Somebody! Quick! Get me the broom! Get me the broom!” laughed, Kate Winslet. “I consider that to be an interesting, insightful thing that as a matriarch I’ve learned about myself — which is kind of bothersome.”

The 24-year-old “Spider-man: No Way Home” star Zendaya also talked about how she got further in tune with her love for acting while she was searching for other meaningful hobbies.

“I never really got to know who I was without work,” said Zendaya, who became the youngest Emmy Award Winning actress, last year for her astounding acting in “Euphoria“. “I started working when I was so young, and I’ve always had a consistent thing happening in my life.”

During that time, Zendaya asked herself the troubling questions: “I was like, what makes me happy? What do I like to do other than work? Do I have any hobbies?”

She employed this time by engaging herself in her passion for acting and what came out of it was Sam Levinson’s drama, “Malcolm & Marie”.
