The Kadashians always manage to stay in the limelight either for their show or lavish parties and we honestly can’t keep up with their parties now. The festivities of Kim Kardashian’s birthday party weren’t even over yet and now we have her half sister, Kendall Jenner throwing a rooftop Halloween themed birthday party amidst the rising Covid19 cases. The star studded event attended by the likes of the Bieber couple, The Weeknd, Winnie Harlow, Paris Hilton, Doja Cat, Jaden Smith etc. took place on October 31st, Saturday at Harriet’s rooftop hotel in West Hollywood.
The hostess absolutely unbothered partied away dressed as Barb, a character played by iconic actress, Pamela Anderson in the movie ‘Barb Wire’. Among about 100 attendees dressed in creative Halloween outfits, what caught people’s attention was Jaden Smith’s peculiar outfit. He was supposedly dressed as the protagonist of ‘Tenet’ but ended up looking like he’s in dire need of medical attention. People were not happy with his ‘patient’ look any more than they were with the party. To top it all Kendall Jenner’s Halloween birthday party ahead of her birthday which is on 3rd November had leaflets reading “NO SOCIAL MEDIA”. Take all the photos you want, but please do not post on social media of any kind” almost as if she’s aware that hosting a crowded event full of people who travel and socialize often in the Covid19 situation is not a good idea after all.
The party was criticised all over social media for the sheer ignorance of these celebrities whilst advocating social distancing and awareness. Several people took to Twitter to express their disapproval when mom, Kris Jenner came to daughter’s defence. On Monday while speaking to SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, she said,“We’re dealing with lots of people that have different opinions, and all we can do is live our lives the best way we know how and be responsible and do the right thing.’’ The celebrity mom in an attempt to ease the situation further added, “And we’re doing that. And I think, I am very sensitive to what’s going on. Believe me, you know, I’ve, I’ve really tried so hard. We are very lucky to work in an industry where we get tested once or twice a week.” Yeah well, privileged people and their snivels. Jenner revealed that all the party guests were tested prior to entering the venue and had to wait about ‘’a half an hour” for their results. “So, you know, we do what we can, we, we try to follow the rules. And then if people are, you know, they’re commenting and they’re being critical, I can’t control that,’’ Jenner mom admitted.
