Kevin Hart COVID-19 Battle: Here’s What Stopped Him From Revealing The News!

Kevin Hart’s COVID-19 battle recently came to light

Kevin Hart’s COVID-19 battle recently came to light after the Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle star spoke about it at his stand-up comedy show.

The 41 year-old star disclosed this news while performing at the ‘Dave Chappelle’s An Intimate Socially Distanced Affair show’ in Yellow Springs, Ohio. But this left the fans wondering as to why the news of Kevin Hart testing positive came to the public’s knowledge after such a long time? The actor’s explanation to this question is related to Tom Hanks’ announcement of him testing positive for COVID-19 along with wife Rita Wilson. Hanks and his wife Wilson revealed to have tested positive for COVID-19 on March 11 this year.

Kevin Hart tested positive for Coronavirus around the same time as Tom Hanks which means during early March this year. On being asked about why he did not share this bit of news with his fans, The Wedding Ringer star said: “The problem is that I had it around the same time as Tom Hanks, and I couldn’t say anything because he’s more famous than I am.”

The news of Kevin Hart’s COVID-19 ordeal is another addition to the star’s already turbulent and difficult time in life. On September 1, 2019, the actor was involved in a deadly car crash after his Plymouth Barracuda went veering off the road into a ditch in Malibu Hills, California.  He suffered some major back injuries.

After the near-death experience, Kevin shared a very emotional video on his Instagram page.

In the video, he said: “After my accident, I see things differently. I see things from a whole new perspective. My appreciation for life is through the roof. So don’t take today for granted because tomorrow’s not promised.”

But post Kevin Hart’s COVID-19 revelation and his harrowing accident in the past, it seems like the bad days are finally over now and there is only happiness in store for Hart because the actor is all set to welcome his baby girl with wife Eniko Hart with whom he tied the knot on August 13, 2016.

Hart recently took to his Instagram and shared a sweet picture from his wife’s bohemian style baby shower. In the adorable picture, with the caption ‘Getting close #Harts,’ he can be seen embracing his wife along with a beautiful backdrop perfectly complementing the couple’s theme.
