Kim Kardashian Hits Back At Kanye West’s ‘Constant Attacks’, Private Talks Become Public

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s public feud.

Ever since his new relationship with Julia Fox, Kanye West has been seen taking digs at Kim Kardashian in many ways. But Kim seems to have had enough with the last straw pulled out by West about their daughter using TikTok.

Kardashian’s breaking point came when West took to Instagram asking his followers how to get their oldest daughter, 8-year-old North West, who has a joint TikTok account with Kardashian, off the platform. He tagged Kardashian in the post, featuring a screenshot of North in one of their TikToks. In the seven-second video, posted to the @KimandNorth account three days ago, North and her mom spin around the camera while lip-syncing.

Almost immediately, Kardashian clapped back with a detailed response by posting a statement on her Instagram Stories for him and the public to read.

She was open about the toll his conduct has taken on her and their family. The couple has four children together: North, 6-year-old Saint, 4-year-old Chicago, and 2-year-old Psalm.

“Kanye’s constant attacks on me in interviews and on social media is actually more hurtful than any TikTok North might create,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision — because it brings her happiness.”

The mom of four, who married the rapper in 2015 and split nearly a year before, went on to criticize his public attack. “Divorce is difficult enough on our children and Kanye’s obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all,” she wrote to her nearly 300 million followers. “From the beginning I have wanted nothing but a healthy and supportive co-parenting relationship because it is what is best for our children and it saddens me that Kanye continues to make it impossible every step of the way.”

“I wish to handle all matters regarding our children privately,” she concluded, “and hopefully he can finally respond to the third attorney he has had in the last year to resolve any issues amicably.”

Kanye West responded to Kim’s note later in the day, questioning, “what do you mean by main provider?” and made a couple of posts thereafter regarding how Kim has tried to keep their kids away from him.

Since launching the joint TikTok in November, North has shared a video of her braces and her handbag collection, along with clips of her with her family, including sister Chicago West, 4. In December, North sparked concern from cousin Mason Disick, 12, when she livestreamed a tour of Kim’s home without permission, prompting him to text her mom about it.

“She felt bad, and I don’t think she will do it again,” Kim told Mason, “but it could be good if you talk to her about it.”

As for Kanye West, this isn’t the first time he has criticized North’s use of social media. He admitted in a January interview that, “My children ain’t going to be on TikTok without my permission.”
