Lady Gaga’s Dogwalker Is Raising Money For A ‘Healing Trip’

He is healing from a mental trauma.

Ryan Fischer, who served as Lady Gaga’s Dogwalker, was shot four times

Lady Gaga’s dogwalker, Ryan Fischer, is raising funds for a ‘healing trip’ months after he was shot by some kidnappers, who intended to kidnap Lady Gaga’s three dogs. Earlier this year, while taking Gaga’s dogs out for a walk at night, Ryan was brutally shot four times by some dognappers, where two out of the singer’s three French Bulldogs were taken. However, later the singer got her dogs back after she offered a $500,000 reward. This incident, on the other hand, left Fischer in a very critical condition for months. But now the young dogwalker has decided to overcome his trauma and take a road trip.

Lady Gaga initially thanked her dogwalker for saving her family which in the process cost a lot to Ryan Fischer. He is currently seeking $40,000 to cover travel and living expenses as he has left Hollywood to start his journey, but right now he has “no vehicle, apartment, and having run out of savings and surviving on donations from generous loved ones.” The reason behind taking this ‘Sabbatical’ is the mental and physical trauma that he has been suffering from for months now. He revealed that he was many times “scared lonely and unsupported” and suffered “long bouts of depression and doubt and self-pity.”

“A few days ago, I said goodbye to Trudy, a quasi-reliable 1991 Ford Falcon rental that drove like a boat in high wind. With just me, Trudy, 3 stuffed animals that resemble dogs I care for very much, and WAY too many personal items, across the US we teetered along for two months,” he wrote. “Having that understanding helped me frame what I need from the rest of this sabbatical: getting a van and exploring this country while seeking out communities that support the process of growing from trauma.”

Lady Gaga’s dogwalker further wrote about his GoFundMe page and motive.

“I have set up this GoFundMe page in supporting a van purchase, travel expenses and welcome all input on retreats for trauma throughout the country as well as queer spiritual leaders and healers, and how best to highlight and share with you along the way,” Fischer said. “I love you, and thank you for all the ways you have supported me throughout; I truly can’t wait to see how the next step of this journey unfolds for us all.”

Earlier in March, when Ryan Fischer was recovering well, he suddenly had to go through a surgery in which a part of his lung has to be removed after being shot in the incident. He informed about this surgery via an IG post, where she wrote, “I was whisked to the same ER where I had been only a week earlier: my lung had collapsed, and the air was filling up my chest cavity.” However, the dogwalker is doing good now and is working on recovering from this trauma.
