Machine Gun Kelly’s Taurus Has Been Taken Over By RLJE Films

His new music will feature in the movie!

Machine Gun Kelly’s latest acting stint, Taurus, has been picked up by RLJE Films, Deadline reports. The drama premiered earlier this month at the Berlin Film Festival and is currently getting ready for its North American premiere next month at the Tribeca Festival. It will get an official theatrical release later this year, according to reports.


“We couldn’t be more thrilled to share both the acting and musical talent of Colson Baker with his legion of fans with Taurus,” said the chief acquisitions officer of RLJE, Mark Ward. “This film is a labor of love for Tim and Colson and their passion for this project truly shows on the screen,” he added.

A little bit on Machine Gun Kelly’s Taurus

Machine Gun Kelly’s Taurus has been written by Tim Sutton and stars the 32-year-old “Sellout” hitmaker in the role of a troubled rising musician who spends his days trying to find motivation and inspiration to record his next song. According to the story, his assistant played by Maddie Hasson wants to save him his collaborators played by Scoot McNairy, Demetrius ‘Lil Meech’ Flenory Jr and Lil T Jay want him to record music in his studio, while his drug dealer played by Ruby Rose and his ex-played by Megan Fox push him deeper into depression.


Jib Polhemus has produced the movie alongside Rob Paris and Mike Witherill via their Rivulet Media banner. Sutton, Baker, and Gul Karakiz executive produced it. The soundtrack for the movie features new material from MGK, Naomi Wild, Travis Barker, and others.

According to reports, RLJE Films’ Ward and Betsy Rodgers negotiated the deal with Anonymous Content and Paradigm for the filmmakers.

What is MGK up to these days?

Machine Gun Kelly’s Taurus, however, isn’t his first stint with acting. Previously, the musician has acted in roles in movies like The Dirt, Beyond the Lights, Nerve, Bird Box, Midnight in the Switchgrass, etc.


On Sunday night, during the Billboard music awards, the musician dedicated his song “Twin Flame” to the love of his life, Megan Fox. “I wrote this song for my wife [referring to Fox],” he said, sending fans in a frenzy and sparking rumors that the couple have already gotten married. He also dedicated the song near the end of the performance to their “unborn child” once again sparking rumors that Megan Fox is pregnant.
