Maisie Williams supported boyfriend Reuben Selby on the launch of his new clothing line
Maisie Williams’ beau Reuben Selby is a founder of the modeling agency and co-founder of creative agency cortex creatives. He also used to cast for the runway shows and used to manage William’s social media platform. Recently, he added another feather to his cap. He launched his own collection of androgynous clothes with prime focus on sustainability.
In an interview with Vogue, Selby revealed, “I started designing clothes when I was super young. What really pushed me to make it happen was the time that I had during the lockdown. It made me realize that their’s nothing stopping me other than myself.” He also added, “Designing clothes and having my own line is something I’ve always dreamt of.” His new collection was minimalist, sustainable, and comfortable. He opted for a muted and pastel color palette.
He took inspiration from real life and that is the reason his outfits were super practical. He said, “All the ideas stem from what comfort is to different people.”
He also revealed, “We wanted to replicate the feeling of that one item of clothing that you fall in love in your wardrobe, and that you always go back to. It could be a vintage T-shirt you bought for 10 pounds, but you have a unique connection with it, and it’s purely because of comfort and how it makes you feel internally.”
