Marvel Announces Loki’s Premiere Date Earlier Along With A New Trailer

Loki is coming before it’s premiere date!

Marvel is winning fans’ hearts with their announcement of the Loki movie, and now they have also announced the Loki premiere date. On Wednesday, May 6, the Marvel Studios took it to their social media accounts to surprise the fans with the premiere date of Loki. The series is all set to be released on June 9, ahead of its earlier premiere date of June 11. Unlike other Marvel series, Wandavision and The Falcon and The Winter Soldier , whose weekly release was Friday. Loki will have its weekly episodes releasing on Wednesdays.

The news of the Loki premiere date was announced by Tom Hiddleston, who plays the title character in the MCU. In the video clip he said, “I’ve noticed that in these long superhero montages, Loki tends to get a bit left out, even though arguably he’s incredibly heroic himself — cunning, charming, I could go on. But maybe…why don’t I just prove it to you. Wednesdays are the new Fridays”.

A new trailer in addition to Loki premiere dates

Along with the announcement of the Loki premiere date, Marvel also released a new trailer of the series. In the video, we can see Loki traveling through various timelines in the MCU. We can also see that he has been set up on a mission with Owen Wilson, who plays Mobius. “This variant is insubordinate, stubborn, unpredictable,” the voice-over says while Loki causes havoc in an ancient city. We can also see him and Mobius trying to work things out together.

The new trailer picks up when Tom Hiddleston’s character announces his true purpose, and we can finally see him as the God of mischief. He says, “I am Loki, and I am burdened with glorious purpose” while moving to different worlds. The new Loki trailer ends with Mobius saying, “Unbelievable wherever you go it’s just death, destruction and literal ends of worlds”. To which Loki replies non-chanted, “I know”.

All About the Loki series

Loki series will feature the God of Mischief in a new light away from his brother Thor or any other Avenger. He was last seen in Avengers: Endgame, where he was stealing the tesseract. During the Loki series premiere, we will see him being detained by a mysterious organization called The Time Keepers. Owen Wilson’s character will play as his acquaintance to help set the timeline correct after the war with Thanos. Even the Loki logo is an animated gif depicting the different timelines in the MCU.
