Meghan Markle is expecting a second baby with her love, Prince Harry. The Royal Couple revealed the amazing news to the public on Valentine’s Day.
Meghan Markle is pregnant again with a second baby, which will make their 1-year-old son, Archie Harrison a responsible big brother. A spokesperson for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry talked to PEOPLE Magazine and said that “We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child.”
The news is all the more special, as it comes after Markle had a miscarriage in July last year, which saw the couple in grief.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry revealed the news to the world by sharing a monochromatic picture, which was taken by their close friend and photographer, Misan Harriman’s iPad.
The photo captured Prince Harry looking down while smiling at his love Meghan, who lay on his lap looking back at him in Joy.
In the adorable picture, the royal couple seemed to be out on a picnic date for their Valentine’s and looked really comfy with Prince Harry wearing a shirt and trousers, and Meghan looked glamourous in a plain gown from the designer, Carolina Herrera. She also wore the same gown when she was expecting Archie, back in May 2019.
The photographer congratulated Meghan Markle and Prince Harry while sharing how he was honoured to capture this happy moment.
“Meg, I was there at your wedding to witness this love story begin, and my friend, I am honoured to capture it grow. Congratulations to The Duke and Duchess of Sussex on this joyous news!”
When is Meghan Markle’s second baby due?
While the royal couple did not give any date as to when their second baby is due, judging by the fact that Meghan had a baby bump in the picture, it can be assumed that she appears to have either completed her first trimester or she is currently still in it.
Which would mean that we can expect Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s second child around the August-September time period.
The couple seems to follow Princess Diana’s footsteps, as 37 years ago, Princess Diana also chose the occasion of Valentine’s day, to announce that she was expecting her second child, Prince Harry.
