Meghan Markle’s new startup is seeing some amazing celebrities on board. The Duchess of Sussex has launched her new coffee brand Clevr Blends with CEO Hannah Mendoz. The company’s headquarters are near Montecito where currently Meghan and Harry are living. Meghan’s friend Oprah Winfrey too has supported the actress in her new venture.
Oprah who had attended the wedding of the royalties also received a loving Christmas basket from Clevr Blends. She captioned her video of opening the basket as, “On the first day of Christmas my neighbor “M” sent to me…a basket of deliciousness! (Yes that M👑) My new drink of choice for the morning and night. Wish I had @clevrblends sooner cause I would’ve added it to my Favorite Things list. #HappyHolidays“
Recently Kim Kardashian also took up the initiative to promote Meghan Markle’s new startup. She put up a photograph of a basket filled with expensive Clevr Blends Coffee and thanked @aliceandolivia for the gesture. Kim Kardashian being one of the most followed celebrities on Instagram is sure to bring benefit to Meghan’s coffee brand by promoting the same on her instagram stories.
A source close to Kim said, “A product mention from her, just before Christmas, is better than most marketing campaigns you could ever devise. Throw in Meghan Markle and Oprah and you’ve got three of the most famous female names on the planet supporting this brand.” according to The Sun.
Meghan Markle and Kim Kardashian are also being compared to each other due to the launch of a new Netflix show on the lives of Meghan and Harry. The royalties revealed that they would be appearing in the documentary series fly-on-the-wall to give a “glimpse of their lives”. Due to this Good Morning Britain host, Piers Morgan even called Meghan “the new Kim Kardashian”.
Meghan Markle’s new startup is a female-led company that makes “superfood infused” powdered oat milk lattes. The ‘SuperLattes’ are present in four flavors: Matcha, Chai, Golden, and Coffee. In a chat with The New York Times, Meghan also said, “This investment is in support of a passionate female entrepreneur who prioritizes building community alongside her business,”
“I’m proud to invest in Hannah’s commitment to sourcing ethical ingredients and creating a product that I personally love and has a holistic approach to wellness. I believe in her, and I believe in her company.”
The CEO Hannah also talked about Meghan’s partnership and said, “Her passion for what we’re creating is palpable, and I couldn’t imagine a more aligned partnership. We’re excited for the road ahead.”
