he claimed to be way more androgynous that Styles!

Mick Jagger, the 78-year-old singer and frontman of the legendary band Rolling Stones, recently got candid about his thoughts and feelings on pop musician Harry Styles. In an interview with The Sunday Times, the musician expressed his opinions on the comparison that has been made between him and the “As It Was” hitmaker.

What does Mick Jagger have to say about Harry Styles?

He said that he likes the “Harry’s House” hitmaker and that they have a cordial relationship but doesn’t think that they are similar whatsoever. “I mean, I used to wear a lot more eye make-up than him,” he said.  “Come on, I was much more androgynous,” he continued saying.

“He doesn’t have a voice like mine or move on stage like me; he just has a superficial resemblance to my younger self, which is fine — he can’t help that,” he added. Mick Jagger has served as an inspiration for Styles time and again. The ex-One Direction star has cited the musician as his idol who inspired his fashion sense a lot. He even did an impression of the rockstar on SNL.

What is the pop idol up to these days?

The 28-year-old musician also recently released his third studio album as a solo artist. Titled “Harry’s House,” it received a strong review from Variety that defined it as “very much a continuation and progression of its predecessor.” People magazine describes the album as being about “having s** and feeling euphorically happy,” as compared to Fine Line, Styles’ previous studio album which was all about “having s** and feeling sad,” as was said by the star in an interview with Rolling Stone.

Recently, the singer delivered a magnificent performance on The Today Show. In the midst of the downpour, the musician didn’t forget to entertain his audience all through and through, going so far as to perform new songs from his latest album!

A large crowd had gathered to witness the pop star in action. Some had even camped out all night waiting patiently to catch a glimpse of their favorite “Watermelon Sugar” hitmaker. Styles had on a striped jumpsuit with bell sleeves and unleashed a wave of bubbly energy and zest throughout his set.

Although Mick Jagger may not be a big fan of Harry Styles, we sure are and looking forward to the artist to release newer hits!
